James Porte aka JL, Invasive Species Coordinator is an Ojibway from the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation on beautiful Lake Simcoe, Ontario. Much of his early life was spent outdoors appreciating the wild spaces and developing a deep love for Mother Earth. His schooling through Sir Sandford Fleming as an Environmental Technician helped him hone his skills and open career paths where he can turn his passion into a paycheck.
