“Georgina Island was selected as a planting site under TD Bank’s annual Tree Days program. The program provides bank employees the opportunity to volunteer in the communities where they live and work, as well as demonstrate a commitment to forest stewardship.”

“Community members, as well as staff and students of the Wabgon Gamig school joined TD employees, their families and friends to create, not only a memorial space, but also an area dedicated to preserving greenspace.
